I am sitting at Spicy Pickle today having lunch with my friend, Brad. My dog is with us also as he comes with me to work every day.
I wasn’t sure if Brad was going to show up or not, so I had my book with me. I am reading Eisenhorn. Brad shows up so I put my book down and he sat down. He looked at my book and says “You are reading a Warhammer 40k book?”. I said yes. He asks “why?”. Because it is a good book.. “okay”
A little later, after we have eaten, I asked him if he had read any of the Warhammer books. He says no, that he isn’t that nerdy. Then starts telling me that he and his room mates have started playing D&D. um…..

TCP/IP
I am actually going to have some real stuff to write about.
Starting my “desktop support” training with a good IT friend of mine. He says by the time we are done with the first section. I will know more about the TCP/IP stack than any of my competition.
So far, I can say that learning about IP addresses makes my eyes cross. he guarantees that it WILL come together.
